Job Description



As a valued colleague on our team, you will develop and design moderately complex application testing methodologies, perform application automation testing, prepare reports, and document testing results.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Digital Engineering - SDET role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop quality test automation solutions for performance testing.
  • Coordinate engineering and product teams to design moderately complex, automated test methodologies.
  • Performs end-to-end automation testing.
  • Review product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance.

 

Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in end-to-end automation testing.
  • Experience in Product Testing including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, performance testing and using relevant product testing technology.
  • Experience Creating, Modifying and Maintaining new and existing Automation Framework Models such as Behavior Driven, and Data Driven, by using Page Object Model and Page Factory Design
  • Experience in using Open-source automation tools Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Karate etc.
  • Programming experience,  including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages.
  • Take active ownership of reviewing quality code across all the squads that team is supporting.
  • Experience using Git.
  • Experience in DevOps using Jenkins, Sauce labs.
  • Skilled in SQL/ Oracle PL SQL
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Skilled in JavaScript
  • Skilled in Java
  • Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, cucumber, Karate etc. for testing.
  • Experience using JIRA.
  • Skilled in using Apache Maven for project management.
  • Skilled in using JUnit.


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
  • Experience monitoring and managing operation systems (OS), and staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the OS.
  • Skilled in XML
  • Skilled in Python object-oriented programming
  • Ability to transform business processes using BPA, RPA, or other technology-enabled automation.
  • Ability to recognize team’s capacity levels (over/under) and influence team’s velocity and delivery capability.
  • Influencing skills to include negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process.
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives.
  • Product Testing experience, including testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology.
  • Influencing adoption of lean automation practices.
