Description

Position Title: Staffing Specialist (BCBA, BCaBA)

Classification: Non-exempt

Position type: Full-Time

Department: Service Coordination

Compensation: Starting at $21.87/hour

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, Flexible between hours of 7 am - 6 pm

Location: Willow Grove, PA (Hybrid work option available with Supervisors approval)

Travel Requirements: Local travel may be required to attend meetings, training events, etc

Start Date: ASAP

Behavior Interventions was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking a Staffing Specialist (BCBA, BCaBA) to support our Service Coordination team in Willow Grove, PA.

 

Reporting Relationship: The Staffing Specialist (BCBA, BCaBA) reports to the Intake Supervisor for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below  for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duties that the Intake Supervisor may assign. 

 

  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Staffing:

    • Develops and implements case coordination procedures to support clients and clinical staff

    • Maintains accurate record of all waitlisted and transfer clients and provides timely communication and updates to pertinent stakeholders

    • Identifies BCBA staff for placement with clients, ensuring minimum qualifications are met

    • Collaborates with talent acquisition specialists to confirm new hire caseload goals are met

    • Notifies Program Directors of new available cases on a weekly basis

    • Coordinates permanent & temporary case transitions ensuring caseloads of clinical staff who are on leave or exiting the organization are staffed

    • Maintains accurate record of staff availability and goal hours to ensure optimization of scheduling

  • Intake:

    • Confirms assignments & coordinates the transition of new case

    • Initiates administrative processes for new cases

    • Coordinates the receipt of initial Written Orders for new cases

    • Collaborates with talent acquisition specialists to support newly hired clinicians & provides support to clinicians needing additional cases to meet billable hour requirements

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma with 2 years of professional work experience. Associate’s  degree preferred.
  • 12+ months of experience with staffing 
  • Ability to manage multiple referrals at various stages of the process
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals across the community and members of the treatment team
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Strong organizational/time management/prioritization skills
  • Proficient technical/computer skills, i.e. ability to successfully utilize G-suite applications and other software programs
  • Experience in or understanding of Behavior Analysis or related field preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidential information, i.e. handle sensitive case files and follow HIPAA/FERPA regulations
  • Proficiency with basic math; multiplying and dividing accurately utilizing a calculator
