Job Description:


ASG has a challenging career opportunity for a Program Manager/Lead Cyber Security Specialist overseeing program management, web development, and information systems security. This position requires an experienced, adaptable individual who possesses a combination of business, management, and technical leadership skills. The Program Manager/Lead Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management in these areas which support two of our federal client’s website development, maintenance, operations, and cyber security. This position will have ultimate responsibility for customer relationship management, subcontractor management, fiscal management, personnel management, cyber security, ISSO, and overall program delivery within schedule and quality targets.

The Successful candidate will understand the concepts of website development, maintenance, helpdesk support, DevSecOps, and in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity and ISSO requirements.


What You Will Do:  

  • Work closely with customers to establish strong relationships fostering a collaborative environment for continuous evaluation of PMO priorities.
  • Hold ultimate responsibility for delivering quality software on time and within budget; Define and track program budget, schedules, resource requirements and performance against established program milestones; Monitor and      communicate progress to customer and management stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Organize, manage, and direct project delivery tasks, assuring proper application of PMO standards, tools and methodologies in project work and deliverables.
  • Actively plan for and manage risks and issues, ensuring adequate contingency planning and issue resolution occurring throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Provide formal, professional periodic updates to key stakeholders (customers and ASG leadership).
  • Define strategy & roadmap for technology-related enhancements to content management, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps technologies and related tools.
  • Lead and provide technical direction for program management and cybersecurity teams.
  • Manage Task Orders, ensuring compliance with PWS requirements and overseeing the implementation of the      tasks.
  • Serve as the primary Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for Government Assessment and Authorization activities.
  • Ensure operational security compliance with DoD requirements and evaluate security solutions for classified information processing.
  • Conduct risk assessments, manage security software/hardware, and prepare critical security documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage technical and programmatic meetings, platform demonstrations, and program office documentation.
  • Provide ongoing evaluations of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Liaise closely with the customer’s business teams, operations teams, and other technical teams to gather business requirements for web projects.
  • Ensure the creation, review, and signoff of deliverables on time.
  • Knowledgeable about Agile process, Working in a fast-paced (Agile), team environment, keeping up with ongoing business requirements and priorities.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or applicable area of study.
  • A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience, with five of those specifically in the areas of cybersecurity, dev/sec/ops, web development, maintenance, and customer support.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity tools and practices, with skills in risk mitigation, security audits, and implementing security controls.
