International Lease Reporting Accountant, Google Fixed Assets

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Accountant (CA), or equivalent.
  
• 4 years of experience with accounting principles, including US GAAP and related international accounting standards.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with ASC 842 or IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.
  
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, including experience with SQL and SAP ERP.
  
• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to support complex operational initiatives.
  
• Collaborative style and ability to work with cross-functional teams and international teams.
  
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
  
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.

You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS), TI teams, US GAAP accounting teams, Company Accountants, and EY auditors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, system improvements, and drive implementation of the solutions. 
• Recognize potential areas of risk and develop risk management solutions.
• Prepare and present financial information to different audiences, including auditors and regional accountants.
• Ensure cost effective performance and on-time delivery of information as per agreed internal SLAs.
