As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned apartment communities, help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, and offers the opportunity to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, hallways, entrances, and perimeter locations, and report unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Support property operations by communicating with residents, visitors, and/or staff, providing directions or assistance as needed, and relaying security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
