Its objective is to drive <strong>new IT solutions</strong> based on SGS Business Units needs and requests, allowing the company to optimize its processes, improve its results and generate value for its clients. These IT solutions are developed through a key work methodology based on an <strong>agile approach, hybrid teams and short time to market</strong>.</p><p><strong>As Data Solutions Architect</strong>, you have experience<strong> designing and implementing Azure architectures</strong> oriented to data management; you have a <strong>strong knowledge around data integrations and architecture</strong> oriented to BI, Streaming, ML, AI and Big Data; you also have a global view and you are capable of collaborate or lead the design, implementation and testing.</p><p>The Senior Data Solutions Architect will be a<strong> key member of the NextGen Data Intelligence Team</strong> and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of data products according to the SGS NextGen Data roadmap.</p><p><u><strong>More Specifically, You Will:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Define solutions data architecture aligned with SGS data governance, standards, and best practices;</li><li>Wide experience in Agile methodologies;</li><li>Participate in data projects as lead data architect taking responsibility for the solution design;</li><li>Be the main point of contact for delivery partners (internal and external)</li><li>Develop PoCs or MVPs to validate cutting and bleeding-edge technologies;</li><li>Stay up to date with latest data trends by attending events and taking relevant training.</li><li>Promote internally and externally the work performed by the NextGen Data Team to facilitate discovery of new data use cases;</li><li>Ownership of the projects you will be involved.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>+ 8 years of professional experience delivering cloud and hybrid (on-premises + cloud) data and machine learning solutions in Azure;</li><li>Extensive experience in data modeling with a special focus on dimensional modeling;</li><li><strong>Deep knowledge of Azure</strong> data solutions;</li><li>CI/CD through Azure DevOps/ GitHub and Visual Studio;</li><li>Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities;</li><li>Ability to plan and subcontract development activities to other internal/external teams;</li><li>Ability to write clear an well structured technical documentation;</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people at all levels in an organization;</li><li>Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English (must) and Spanish.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Why SGS?</strong></p><ul><li>Global and very stable company, world leader in the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry.</li><li>Flexible schedule and hybrid/remote work model.</li><li>SGS university and Campus for continuos learning options.</li><li>Multinational environment where you will work with colleagues from multiple continents.</li><li>Benefits platform.</li></ul><p><strong>Join Us: </strong>At SGS, we are committed to fostering an open, friendly, and supportive culture that thrives on teamwork.
