Devops Team Lead

We are thrilled to have more than 23 nationalities working together and very proud to see that our products and services are enjoyed by millions of users monthly around the globe.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>How will you make a difference:</h3> <p>Team Leadership:</p><ul> <li>Lead a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.</li> <li>Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.</li> <li>Assign tasks and set clear objectives, ensuring the team's efforts align with organizational goals.</li> <li>Promote continuous learning and skill development among team members.</li> </ul><p>DevOps Strategy and Implementation:</p><ul> <li>Define and drive the overall DevOps strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement DevOps best practices.</li> <li>Streamline software development, testing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.</li> <li>Establish and enforce quality standards for code, configurations, and infrastructure.</li> <li>Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments.</li> <li>Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes.</li> <li>Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of critical systems through redundancy, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.</li> <li>Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and frequent software releases.</li> </ul><p>Collaboration</p><ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, QA, and operations, to streamline processes and drive product delivery.</li> <li>Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.</li> <li>Act as a bridge between development and operations teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.</li> <li>Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.</li> <li>Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps and cloud computing space.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization.</li> <li>Conduct regular performance analysis and optimization of systems, infrastructure, and applications.</li> <li>Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.</li> </ul><p><br/></p><h3>How you will stand out from the crowd:</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li> <li>Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or similar technical role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools.</li> <li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) </li> <li>Experience with some Orchestration frameworks and technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes…)</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Linux installation (CentOS and Ubuntu), configuration, and administration</li> <li>Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.</li> <li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li> <li>Experience with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle.</li> <li>NoSQL Databases: Redis, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB and MongoDB.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).</li> <li>Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.</li> <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Your team</strong></p> <p><strong>We’re team-first. </strong>If you believe in the power of collaboration and that the team’s success is your success, then you’re one of us!</p> <p><strong>Fun is fundamental.</strong> We believe in forming strong bonds in and outside the office.
