Position Summary:
The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule compliance, and cost effectiveness. This role acts as a bridge between design, field operations, and project management, facilitating communication and delivering solutions to keep projects moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project operations.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants on technical requirements.

Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.

Support the development and tracking of project schedules and budgets.

Monitor quality control, field activities, and ensure work is completed per plans and codes.

Assist in procurement and delivery tracking of materials and equipment.

Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, meeting minutes, and logs.

Attend project meetings and contribute technical input to problem-solving.

Help ensure site safety and compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and practices.

Proficient in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.

Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Certifications:

OSHA 30 Certification.
-
EIT (Engineer in Training) or working toward PE license.

LEED Accreditation or knowledge of sustainable building practices.
Working Conditions:
-
Hybrid field and office role.
-
Must be able to visit active job sites; exposure to construction environments.

May involve occasional evening or weekend work depending on project needs.
