Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Talent Management Generalist, within the Early Career Team. This TM Generalist will be responsible for engaging and executing across a variety of critical components of the early career lifecycle, including on campus recruiting; supporting hiring, programming, and engagement for our award-winning internship program; supporting the execution, and future stand-ups, of new grad analyst and rotation programs aligned to business talent strategy; drafting and establishing internal and external communications and social media messages to reach our stakeholders; and adhering to operational processes and controls. Key Responsibilities:
- Research, build, and execute new and existing talent programs, in support of desired business outcomes
- Generate/analyze data to inform intern allocations and analyst/rotational program needs
- Establish/strengthen a sourcing network, including universities, student organizations, CRMs, and actively work relationships and connections to drive up brand recognition and interest
- Coordinate and attend college job fairs, community-based recruitment events, and Huntington-hosted recruiting events
- Engage with managers and business leaders to understand required and preferred qualifications for applicants
- Review applications and resumes, in accordance with program requirements
- Screen and communicate with applicants across the full recruitment lifecycle
- Organize and coordinate candidate slates and hiring/conversion processes across a variety of segments and programs
- Design, write, and/or coordinate approvals of communications to reach our internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with other HR partners related to compensation, programming, communication, staffing policies, procedures, and services to improve and/or inform results and employee experience
- Mentor and develop interns and analysts, leveraging career coaching tactics and relationship building
- Take an active role in supporting all facets of the 12-week summer internship program
- Achieve program goals around retention and conversion
- Continuously monitor and evaluate results to improve our programs' success
- Provide cross-functional support to other Talent Management practices and projects
- Build job aids, presentations, and other guides to support colleagues and showcase results
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years in Human Resources and/or program management in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous recruitment experience
- Previous experience supporting early career programs and initiatives
- Prior experience building Talent Programs and structured development programs in alignment with business strategy
- Strong writer of influential messages; basic design skills
- Out-of-the-box thinker with a “roll-up the sleeves” attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing work environment; able to function efficiently under pressure, prioritize work, and adhere to deadlines
- Organized and efficient; able to balance strong attention to detail with speed/volume of execution
- Solid critical thinking skills - able to anticipate issues, adjust in the moment, and know when to raise hand for help
- Should possess analytical/research skills and data acumen; experience using data to inform/influence decision making
- Strong service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders – from college student applicants to Executive-level Huntington leadership
- Strong capability with MS Office suite, including (Excel, Teams, PPT)

- Management of budgets and building business proposals for program strategies
- Able to work independently while efficiently managing multiple tasks, ranging from the mundane to the strategic
