We’re looking for a Manager to support our Account Management team.
Position Summary
As a Manager this role report directly to Coalfire’s VP of Account Management and will serve as the front-line leader in the Account Management organization. The role is responsible and assigned to an Industry Segment to direct manage a team of Account Associates that facilitate and support the renewals, cross-sale, and up-sell activities for specific verticals of Coalfire’s business.

Position Summary
As a Manager this role report directly to Coalfire’s VP of Account Management and will serve as the front-line leader in the Account Management organization. The role is responsible and assigned to an Industry Segment to direct manage a team of Account Associates that facilitate and support the renewals, cross-sale, and up-sell activities for specific verticals of Coalfire’s business.
What You'll Do
- Directly manage a team of 5-7 Account Associates assigned to a specific industry vertical segment
- Support pipeline management, priority of engagements, value proposition, customer escalation, and general employee performance management
- Manage, develop, coach, and motivate the team to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly targets and KPIs are met
- Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
- Partner with key internal and external stakeholders including Account Owners, Marketing, Legal, Sales Operations, etc to establish and refine targets as well as processes
- Monitors the funnel for assigned Vertical Segment of expiring agreements, executes actions in timely manner to ensure the continuation of assigned customers on renewals agreements.
- Development of Sales talent including partnership with talent acquisition, HR, L&D to ensure career development and organizational opportunities for Sales talent.
- Manage organizational sales by developing a sales plan that covers renewals, cross-sale-, and up-sell activities in your respective customer industry vertical segment
- Meet established KPIs pertaining to opportunity generation, progression, and overall forecast accuracy at the team level
- Track sales goals and KPIs weekly and report results to senior leadership as necessary
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to expand sales within customer vertical segment
- Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications, key business themes and challenges, and competition for assigned industry vertical and accounts
- Manage the development and delivery of accurate and high-quality statements of work for all Coalfire service sales from your assigned Industry Segment
- Maintain and communicate an organized understanding of your Industry Segment and opportunities
- Cultivate strong internal working relationship with legal, order management and finance
- Build your knowledge of your client’s and Coalfire’s industry
- Manage Associates through processing of the proposals
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of sales management roles with record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skill.
- Team player who thrives on collaboration and influencing.
- Developed organization skills with a close attention to detail.
- Experience with inside sales, renewals or account management in a B2B sales environment
- Bachelor’s degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience acting as a mentor to members of the team
