What you'll do:

• Design technical solutions that target requirements, as well as account for
• impact to organization.
• Define, develop and maintain artifacts like technical design or partner
• requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process and architectural improvements
• Completes tasks and/or provides data to support implementation of holistic solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process and technology
• Capable of building a CI/CD pipelines to ease service owner effort
• Leads team members in collaboration to solve technical and business challenges
• Seeks knowledge from domain specialists when needed
• Support and solve data and/or system issues as needed
• Automate repetitive tasks
• Effective communication to a variety of stakeholders
• Mentor developers of different expertise levels
• Define and communicating a technical vision, and turn vision into execution plan

Who you are:

• A minimum of 8 years engineering or development experience.
• Experience with enterprise Logging, metrics, and tracing solutions (e.g. Splunk, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana.) 
• Understanding of the SDLC and Agile development methodology
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Expertise in at least two development language (Python, Java, Go, Groovy)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Chef, Cloud Formation and Terraform)
• Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment
• Capable of evaluating health and performance of an application
• Comfortable with developer tools like GitHub, Jenkins
• Experience working with AWS products (e.g. EC2, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, Lambda)
• General knowledge of application development in containerized environment such as Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiar with processing large volumes of data from a variety of different sources.
• Experience in finding cost efficiencies via process and system optimization at an enterprise level
• A BA/BS degree in a technical field or related work experience.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
