About the role

The Austin Public School District is seeking to hire a Full Time 1.0 FTE General Music Teacher Long Term Sub for the 2026-2027 school year

This position will be at both Southgate and Banfield elementary for the first three months of the 2026-2027 school year 

 

Position Overview

Responsibilities will be teaching general music education classes for students in a Grade 1-4 School.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Music Teaching License from the Minnesota Department of Education

Salary/Benefits:  Annual Salary Range is according to education and experience. Also includes a competitive benefits package of paid time off, health insurance, life insurance, etc., according to the AEA Working Agreement located within the Human Resource section of the Austin Public Schools website at www.austin.k12.mn.us.
