 IT Project Manager

About the role:

As an IT Project Manager you will work very closely with a team of IT Infrastructure Leaders and team members to deliver projects that align with the Strategic Objectives for the Infrastructure and Operations Department.

Your mission is to be a delivery partner for a team that maintains the infrastructure that allows for billions of payments transactions each year. This is the core of our business and we have an ambitious roadmap we need you to support delivering. You’ll deliver projects to maintain our services stability, that continues to enable best in class, scalable payments infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for facilitating strategy and project success and continuously improving processes in the organisation.

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Plan, manage and govern multiple strategic IT projects in a high availability environment
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned strategic IT projects, securing appropriate resources, driving outcomes and achieving project, programme and strategic KPIs
  • Be responsible for the adherence to our project capability - ensuring projects are complying with delivery processes and standards and help redesign project processes with the aim to increase efficiency and maturity
  • Work closely with all project stakeholders to obtain buy-in and progress project milestones and coordinate stakeholder meetings and facilitate the decision making process
  • Motivate project teams to achieve targets. Constantly look to ways to improve processes and procedures
  • Manage external vendor relationships to ensure timely project delivery to budget
  • Drive regular reports on project status with Senior Management via KPI and project steering meetings
  • We believe in timely and effective execution, you’ll measure, track and review  project delivery metrics ensuring adherence to project time, budget and resource constraints across multiple projects

What you need to be successful:

  • Strong record of delivery and execution of IT Projects. Capable of managing and switching between multiple projects and activities without losing speed
  • Drive production of high quality plans, ensures adherence to plans, reports on progress and maintain delivery schedule
  • Proven ability to deliver on projects in a complex environment across different organisations and departments
  • Previous experience within or working with an IT department as a project manager
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and implement project management methodologies (including Agile ways of working)
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships between stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Highly developed competencies like: strong process and people leadership (you are an effective cross-team player), strong emotional intelligence, you are self-motivator who will hit the ground running and holds self to a high standard, brings a positive growth mindset and fosters that in others
  • Project or Programme Management certification, Agile PM, Lean Six Sigma, APMG, or Prosci certifications beneficial
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent English and Polish, in written and spoken form is a must
