Insurity’s Next Business Systems Architect The Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing and documenting requirements and/or functional specifications as needed, including the determination of regulatory impact and system impact.Participate with customers and internal functional areas as appropriate throughout the development, testing, and installation processes. Research and evaluate alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions. The individual contributes to activities to improve quality and advance the overall analysis practice throughout the organization. The Business Systems Architect will provide coordination for team initiatives.The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical and business knowledge relative to the implementation of insurance processing.What Our Business Systems Architect Will Do
- Partnering with customers to define business needs and elicit business requirements
- Producing artifacts that accurately depict customer needs for enhancement, problem, and support requests, such as:
- Business requirements
- Process flow diagrams and other diagrams
- Facilitate complex requirements and design discussions
- Providing research and analysis in support of proposed solutions
- Participating in peer reviews/inspections for requirements, estimates, and specifications
- Pro-actively build and maintain customer relationships as a trusted advisor
- Developing a working knowledge of Insurity's software applications, data structures, architecture, and processing capabilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members
- Participate in the development and reinforcement of Business Analysis methodologies across the team
- Developing working knowledge of Property/Casualty Insurance
- Effectively engage with Insurity, Bureau and/or Customer executives
- Facilitate estimating discussions and coordinating work efforts
- Providing support for testing activities
- Promote Insurity’s overall product positioning and vision internally and externally
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years industry experience
- Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to travel to customer locations: up to 25%
- Experience with Property/Casualty Insurance preferred
