ROLE SUMMARY
Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting women in the US, and IBRANCE, our first-in-class CDK 4/6 inhibitor, has been prescribed to ~200,000 patients in US since launch. In 2025, IBRANCE contributes >$2.6B in net revenue to Pfizer Oncology and continues to be a market leader despite intensifying competition. In addition, the Breast Cancer Franchise is preparing to manage through the IRA effectuation and LOE of IBRANCE (’27) by launching one new indication for IBRANCE and at least two novel medicines (e.g. vepdegestrant ‘26, prifetrastat ‘28, atirmociclib ‘29) in breast cancer over the next four years. The IBRANCE Marketing team continues to lead the way internally and innovate in all aspects of engagement with HCPs, accounts, patients, and patient advocacy groups.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This Senior Director, Team Lead role reports to the US Breast Cancer Franchise Lead and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, collaborative, and innovative colleague to join the US Oncology organization to identify and execute incremental growth opportunities through the launch of the IBRANCE PATINA HER2+ indication, as well as IRA effectuation and LOE; explore multiple vepdegestrant launch scenarios with Arvinas; plus lead early launch activities for prifetrastat and atirmociclib; and develop a team of 8 talented HCP marketers at the Director and Sr. Manager level.
- Identify, strategize, plan and execute incremental growth opportunities in the HCP and account space.
- Manage, engage, and coach a team at the Director and Sr. Manager level of 7 marketers to achieve high performance and maximize team potential.
- Actively participate in fostering positive team culture and collaboration across broader US BC marketing team.
- Define and manage IBRANCE strategy and tactical execution through the HCP and Account channels.
- Monitor performance of marketing tactics and focus on maximizing ROI through thoughtful investment and trade-offs.
- Lead the development of the customer insight plan in partnership with OCA and leverage insights to evolve strategic and tactical approach to IBRANCE promotion.
- Align closely with BC Sales and KAD leadership to develop annual POAs that incorporate CFC feedback into focused activities to grow the CDK class and maintain IBRANCE class leadership.
- Participate in leadership presentations, performance updates, and OpEx management to optimally maintain Pfizer’s Breast Cancer leadership for the next decade.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech HCP, account, and/or payer marketing +/- sales
- 5+ years of in-line US marketing experience with focus on HCP stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the US market dynamics including specialty channels, organized customers, and payers
- Demonstrated success developing, executing and measuring complex marketing programs and championing innovative solutions
- COMMERCIAL EXCELLENCE: Proven track record of identifying customer needs and extracting and translating key insights into meaningful strategies and tactics
- LEADERHIP: 5+ years of direct or matrix management or coaching of marketing colleagues at all levels (Manager to Director) and commitment to fostering team engagement, team culture and developing people
- INTERNAL AMBASSADOR: Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to engage experts from a wide range of cross-functional areas to improve business performance and find a path forward
- Strong analytical skills, detail and action oriented, creative, flexible, self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Oncology, specialty, or rare disease marketing experience
- MBA or advanced degree
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and making complex decisions quickly
- Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data and understand trends and mathematical calculations
- Ability to work on computer for extended periods using common applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for congresses, sales meetings and customer interactions
