Job Description

The Pay Role Clerk / HR Generalist will:

• Have full ownership of payroll & payroll processes
• Train and monitor work accuracy of HR/Payroll responsibilities with managers
• Coordinate all compliance/ethics training for hourly and salary employees
• Manage new hire orientation for all hourly and salary employees
• Work with union employees and abide by the current CBA

The Pay Role Clerk / HR Generalist should be:

• A self-starter with high energy
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Able to communicate well with all levels of employees and management
• Understanding of California labor and wage laws

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in HR Management) and at least 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Labor relations experience required
• Oral and written fluency in both Spanish and English is a plus
