Your team

The WMA Data Management Office (DMO) is a centralized team responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, integration, and governance of data across the organization. It ensures data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while also supporting data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives. This position reports to the GWM Americas Chief Data Officer. The DMO collaborates with various departments to establish data standards, policies, and procedures to maximize the value of data assets and mitigate risks associated with data usage.

Your expertise

• ideally a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration; advanced degree preferred
• experience in data management, data governance, or a related field within the financial services industry
• proven track record of designing and implementing data governance strategies and data architecture frameworks in large-scale businesses
• strong understanding of data management concepts, including data lineage, taxonomies, data structures, and data quality assessment methodologies
• experience working with regulatory bodies and familiarity with compliance requirements related to data management within the financial services sector
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data quality issues
• ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• a self-starter willing to dive deep into subject matter and challenge the status quo

Salary information

US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $160000 to $220000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
