Job Description

Location: Remote 
Term: 6-month contract
Hours: Up to 30 hours per week
Rate: $40 per hour

Description:

• Manage the end-to-end localization process for various assets in Korean.
• Work closely with the Globalization team, vendors, and the In-country review (ICR) team to create high-quality translated materials.
• Post-processing of design files. This includes layout adjustments, file compilation, and organization of localized files.
• Assist the Globalization team with product deployment, QA, and release activities.
• Address all incoming defects and improvement items.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the localization field.
• Native-level Korean speaker with professional fluency in English.
• Proven experience in localization management.
• Knowledge and proficiency in industry-standard localization technology platforms such as Translation Management Systems and other localization tools.
• Solid, in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization.
• Experience working with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premier, Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint, and video editing software.
• Working knowledge of HTML/XML, JSON, and other scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Technically savvy and able to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
• Solution-oriented, highly motivated, and can-do attitude.
• Self-starter with proven ability to get the job done.
• Proactive communicator and collaborator.
• Agile knowledge and experience are a plus.
