Responsibilities, include, but not limited to

 

• Safely and efficiently operating variety of snow removal and salt spreading equipment
• Shovels snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic
• Salt-Spreading on sidewalks, and walking pathways by using hand used salt spreaders, shovels, and buckets
• May remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high trafficked facilities using, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Wheel Loader, Front End Loader, Snow Rator, Tractor, or using plow blade attachments
• Removes snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic
• Report to assigned branch, or location within time frame given
• Be on call 27/4 during the winter months for all snow and ice events
• Ensures work is being conducted in a safe manner, and maintains work areas safe for the employee, the customer, public and the environment.
• Perform at a high and safe level of productivity

Requirements

• At least 1 snow season experience (heavy equipment operating may require more years of experience)
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months
• Able to handle the physical demands of the position
• Be punctual and reliable
• Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
• Accountability to themselves and to their team
• Be someone others want to work with
