3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Specialist

HALO has recently expanded its operation to include 3PL services within our growing Supply Chain Department. These services allow HALO to work with its clients on their third-party logistics (3PL) needs. We are looking for a 3PL Specialist to oversee and manage the inbound inventory deliveries, and act as a resource to translate the physical receipt of goods into HALO’s internal systems and support the company’s distribution network.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with customers on inbound domestic shipment information, including but not limited to, purchase order information, tracking, proofs and exceptions.
• Create items for inbound receipts into HALO’s ERP.
• Create purchase orders in HALO’s ERP for all inbound shipments and communicate purchase orders to fulfillment center personnel. 
• Ensure all purchase orders are received on time and communicate any discrepancies to the customer.
• Work with internal photographer to obtain item images upon client request.
• Report to management statuses of all pertinent activities 
• Assist in physical inventory/cycle count processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of 3PL operations, inventory and/or supply chain administration
• Ability to work independently and make decisions
• Strong communications skills working with a cross-functional team, i.e. Fulfillment center, customer service
• Advanced organization and multi-taking skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Intermediate MS Office skills specifically Excel
• Flexibility to work well in a team environment
• Experience working in a warehousing environment
• Ability to perform moderate physical duties including walking, light lifting, standing
• Have worked with consumer goods and/or industrial suppliers experience preferred but not required
