Hematology-Oncology Summer Intern

We are seeking sophomores and juniors majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field students for a 12-Week Student Intern role with 3 openings in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

The role will be placed on one of 3 teams within the Hematology division: Leukemia Team, Lymphoma Team, Cell Therapy Team. Duties will be as follows:

• Analyzing data-sets from real-world evidence databases and registries
• Producing summary reports of key meetings such as advisory boards
• Organization support of day-to-day Medical Affairs organization activities

Position Requirements:

• Sophomores and juniors majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.

• MS Word, Outlook, and Excel skills required

• Coding skills such as Python or Java are a plus

• Power BI or other dashboard management experience is a plus

• Statistical skills are a plus

• Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.

• US Work Authorization is required at time of application.

• This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.

• Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD - Rio Complex 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.

• Minimum grade point average of 3.0
