Product Warehouse Analyst / Sr Analyst - Houston, TX
LOCATION: McCarty - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN
Purpose:
To manage and oversee daily operations of a logistics and inventory team responsible for inbound and outbound activities at the McCarty location. This role ensures smooth coordination across shifts, maintaining inventory accuracy and team coverage to support efficient operations while adhering to safety and quality standards. The position requires both on-site yard oversight and office-based operations, demanding flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach to inventory and team management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team across two shifts (between 6 am–10 pm) to ensure adequate coverage, setting schedules, managing overtime, and handling callouts.
- Oversee inbound receiving of accessories, inventory management, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.
- Ensure timely feeding of inventory lines for operations, outbound deliveries, and effective collaboration with carriers to support material flow.
- Maintain effective communication with planning, operations, quality, and HSE teams for seamless daily coordination.
- Use YMS, SAP, and TM systems to manage inventory tracking, processing, and accurate reporting.
- Ensure adherence to quality and HSE standards, monitor incidents, and manage claims as needed. Implement and oversee process compliance across the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field; or equivalent experience in logistics operation role.
- 5+ years in a similar role, with managerial or leadership experience preferred.
- Proficiency in YMS, SAP, and Excel, including data handling skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team and vendor interactions.
- Ability to address unforeseen challenges, inventory issues, and claim management.
- Availability: Flexible hours with primary hours from 8 am–5 pm, including weekends as needed for on-call support.
