Job Description

The Dishwasher position will aid in a smooth running prepared foods department by maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Cleans kitchen equipment, food storage containers, plates, and utensils with appropriate materials
• Operates a dishwashing machine
• Keeps inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management when supplies are low
• Looks out for and reports repair needs
• Cleans dish storage and organizes as necessary
• Maintains a clean and hazard free work space
• Assists kitchen staff as needed
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Clear and effective communication
• Ability to organize and work efficiently
