Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid driver’s license and clean driving history, to be a great fit for this role! 

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet customers and client employees in a professional manner. 
• Conduct mobile patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrances / exits and customers, provide guidance as needed and assists Asset Protection with information gathering. 
• Complete daily activity, incident reports, and logs via client system. 
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employee's, and management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to the client, client employee's, and customers. 
• Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property. 
• Protect evidence or the scene of the incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others. 
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and / or as required by the site. 
• Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accordance with client standards. 
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must understand the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have swing shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports / logs (via handheld devices and computers), camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Asset Protection, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management. 
• Must be able to stand for majority of shift, take 15-minute breaks, and adhere to lunch period. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation / force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved
