About the role

Description

The Center for Clinical Neurosciences at Tulane University in New Orleans is seeking an additional neurointensivist to join its faculty as the Neuroscience program continues to expand. The candidate will join the Center’s existing group of neurosurgeons and neurologists at University Medical Center and/or East Jefferson General Hospital (a JACHO accredited comprehensive Stroke Center) and affiliated hospitals.

East Jefferson General Hospital’s neurocritical care unit is collaborative in nature, with a co-management model of admitted patients. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in adult neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine or anesthesiology and be fellowship trained in neurocritical care.

Located in New Orleans, LA, the area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities in a world class city and convenient access to the beautiful Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

Doctorate of Medicine

Candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain a LA medical license

Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in adult neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine or anesthesiology and be fellowship trained in neurocritical care.
