What you will be doing
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you administer and support core Microsoft, Linux, VMware technologies and Azure resources, Install and Configure Windows/Linux Servers, develop servers and provide support to individual users to ensure that the system works reliably and quickly and manage server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX. The role provides technical leadership, interpreting complex information and coordinating client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet and manage service expectations, aligned to best practices. You are also responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the instances of the on-prem and cloud infrastructure services and the servers and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Knowledge in Application Insights, service principal in Azure, NSG rule, Azure Key vault is a must. You also work closely with other IT departments and vendors to answer technical questions or resolve issues with server performance and access Install and maintain Windows-based programs for end users and help debug applications so that they work with Windows servers. Performing System Maintenance activities like review backups, error logs and user-reported errors and identify stable and reliable solutions is a must and an ability to monitor performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes, developing and deploying initiative-taking solutions and setup alerts to ensure system usability across the organization, developing and maintaining systems that adhere to compliance regulations and security best practices and standards is required,
