Position Summary:

Join our dynamic clinical care team as a Medical Assistant! In this role, you'll work closely with healthcare providers in our Primary Care department to support patient care. Your main responsibilities will include managing patient flow, assisting providers as needed, and performing various non-skilled nursing tasks. You will also help maintain supplies and equipment while addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients ranging from newborns to seniors. Prepare for clinics by ensuring all test results and instruments are ready according to department protocols. This position offers excellent opportunities for career advancement!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and record vital signs.
  • Monitor oxygen levels using pulse oximetry.
  • Operate oxygen equipment.
  • Conduct EKG tests.
  • Perform laboratory tests, including glucometer checks and urinalysis.
  • Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
  • Follow autoclave procedures and document each sterilization load.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • At least one year of experience in medical assisting is strongly preferred.
  • One year of customer service experience.
  • Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Schedule: Per diem (minimum of 3 shifts per month required)

Hourly Rate: $21.95
