Job Description
The successful candidate is a high-energy, self-starter with an established, documented competence in program management and event planning. You like to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate thinks strategically, acts tactically, and possesses a strong ability to conceptualize, develop, drive, coordinate and manage a wide range of communications. The successful candidate will join a team of program and operations managers as it opens Innovation Centers globally and establishes the program.
In order to represent the Innovation Center Program, this role is required to be in the Santa Clara office a few days a week.
What you get to do in this role:
- Establish the Innovation Center Program by developing processes, procedures, and guidelines to manage the day-to-day operations of the Innovation Centers in Santa Clara and globally.
- Build strong working relationships with the Innovation Office, Executive Briefing Program team, Sales, and subject matter experts to facilitate impactful engagements that establish ServiceNow as a trusted digital partner and inspire future innovation.
- Plan and execute innovation sessions that result in increased customer engagement and confidence.
- Provide strategic consultation through collaboration with the Executive Briefing Program Team, Sales Teams, and the Innovation Office to develop Innovation Center engagements.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts across the company to advance the Innovation Center Program.
- Identify speakers to demonstrate the Innovation Experiences, host innovation sessions, and facilitate workshops. The ideal speakers for these sessions would be based on understanding of required expertise, level of customer, messaging needs. Use a combination of existing resources and key contacts/network outside the briefing team to identify expertise for new or unique business requirement.
- Design, develop, and support different types of customer engagements based on local customs, business etiquette and protocols.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
- BA or BS, Marketing or Communications with event experience
- Capability to work in an environment with a high degree of shared responsibility between and across team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and calmly handle high pressure situations
- Ability to work well across organizational boundaries
- Applied sense of urgency and ability to achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, developing a network of experts and executives to support innovation sessions
- General ServiceNow product knowledge a plus
- May require some travel
- Regular office presence to represent the Innovation Center Program
