Role Overview:
The AP Analyst II is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reimbursements, payments, reconciliations, and journal entries, in accordance with the company’s accounting principles and policies. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining strong service standards and supporting various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, develop, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for accounts payable functions across multiple departments, including mail handling and filing.
  • Verify and code invoices to appropriate accounts, ensuring proper approvals, matching invoices to purchase orders and goods receipts for three-way match, and entering data into the accounting software.
  • Assist with the processing of weekly payment runs and maintain adequate supporting documentation.
  • Develop functional expertise with the general ledger system (Oracle Fusion) and the T&E system (Concur).
  • Review and process expense reports in accordance with the company Travel and Business Expense Policy.
  • Prepare monthly accrual entries and reconcile accrual accounts and sub-ledgers.
  • Perform research and analysis to provide timely resolution and follow-up to vendor and employee inquiries.
  • Administer, monitor, and reconcile petty cash disbursements monthly.
  • Assist with and lead other projects and duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Accounting associate degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime during month-end close.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to be a functional resource and work well with others.
  • Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy for handling high volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of large general ledger software applications and online procurement and expense reporting systems is a plus.
