Position Summary:  To provide clinical supervision to team members who are part of interdisciplinary team of mental and addiction clinicsEssential Accountabilities: 

  • Provide clinical supervision to multidisciplinary team members to assure effective and appropriate clinical services are being provided.
  •  manage day to day operations of clinic.
  • Provide direct care services by carrying caseload, perform intakes and facilitating individual and group sessions.
  •  Assist in leading team meetings to review new, high risk and current cases.
  •  Monitor paperwork to assure OMH and OASAS  guidelines are being met.
  •  Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  •  Coordinate care with other services/agencies.
  •  Complete timely documentation in electronic health record.
  •  Maintain 42CFR, HIPPA and HIV confidentiality on all current and former patients of the agency.
  •  Obtain and maintain certifications and required licenses.
  •  Attend agency mandated trainings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Program Director

Job Qualifications

  • LCSW, LMHC or LMSW, LMHC-D with related MASTER’S degree.
  • Candidate Must have 3 years experience working in field of mental health and substance abuse    
  • Must have knowledge of OMH and OASAS regulations.
