Part-Time Position - Security Guard - Clinical Health Services

This position will provide security at the following Fort Bend County Clinic locations on a part-time, Saturday only basis:  Rosenberg Clinic, North Katy Annex Clinic, and Missouri City Annex Clinic.  The Clinic hours of operation are 8 am - 12 noon, from January through May, and October through December.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Monitor entrances and exits of the clinics to ensure only authorized individuals have access to the clinic.
• Enforce visitor policies, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
• Patrol the premises to deter theft, vandalism, or disruptive behavior.
• Respond to emergencies including medical emergencies, by providing assistance or notifying medical staff and emergency services.
• Report any security incidents or breaches in safety protocols to clinic management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Basic TCOLE certification.
• Requires a minimum of one year of law enforcement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with the public.
• Valid Driver License.
• Firearms proficiency.
• Availability to work 4-hour shifts on Saturdays as needed.

STARTING SALARY: Part-time, $35.00 per hour
