MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensures IT systems are designed, implemented, and maintained effectively to support organizational and user needs, acting as a bridge between requirements and technical solutions.

• Works with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and creates comprehensive technical documentation including flow diagrams, system models, and user guides.

• Evaluates proposed solutions for technical and financial viability, and coordinates with Developers, Network Engineers, and other IT professionals to implement and smoothly integrate systems.

• Evaluates Test Plans to ensure systems meet requirements, assists with training users and IT staff on new systems, supports troubleshooting, and analyzes/improves processes for efficiency and productivity.

• Ensures systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, stays updated with technology trends, recommends new beneficial technologies, and provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Systems Analyst duties or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• 9 years of experience with 5+ years of Systems Analyst specific experience.

• Experience in systems analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of analyzing, designing, and implementing IT systems.

• Deep understanding of systems analysis methodologies and best practices. Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.

• Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) models.

• Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including flow diagrams, system models, and specifications.

• Understanding of network infrastructure, databases, and software applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.

• Experience supporting DoD programs and with cloud-based technologies.

• Experience with specific systems analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
