The Role:  

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic support to drive informed business decisions and insights for teams across the company. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support the company’s financial goals. Your work will be highly visible across a growing and dynamic business. 

Location: Required to be onsite 2-3 days a week or as needed in our San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities:  

  • Work closely with department heads to provide in-depth reporting and analysis on revenue and expenses, including variance commentary 
  • Build and maintain critical financial models and KPI reports used for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting purposes, including financial and business metrics   
  • Synthesize internal data from multiple sources into meaningful management reports and dashboards  
  • Assist in preparation of financial materials for management, the Board of Directors, and investors   
  • Support planning and forecasting cycles, collaborating with teams from across the company   
  • Support evolution of our core financial systems and processes, including GAAP compliance   
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office or home office setting while working

Required Qualifications:   

  • 1+ years in investment banking, consulting or FP&A experience or similarly quantitative role 
  • Background in accounting/finance/economics 
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience with analyzing a wide variety of complex datasets 
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to work engage with teams across the organization and manage multiple projects/priorities 
  • Experience in turning analytical insights into well-presented internal and external content 
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills  

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, business intelligence tools and visualization products 
  • Experience in Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, and Looker 
  • Experience across all three financial statements 

For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $70,000-80,000 + bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
