The full-time base salary will range from $111,154 - $124,619 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)

About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Research Project Manager to manage the successful delivery of the Healing Spirits, Healing Minds project led by Dr Hayley Williams.
In this role, you will work closely with Chief Investigators and their research teams to identify, develop, implement and improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
This is a highly rewarding, multi-faceted position with leadership opportunities, and is ideal for those with prior experience working with programs, services and/or projects which support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' health.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide high-level project management of this research project including leading and managing the researchers associated with this project, coordinating internal resources as required for project implementation; and supporting the project scope and objectives, in line with corresponding stakeholders and technical feasibility.
Manage financial resources and budgetary reporting processes in accordance with the Research Project Plan.
Provide high-level support for research administration matters including the provision of advice and guidance to researchers with meeting their obligations regarding the conduct of research, including human ethics, conflicts of interest.
About You
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive research management experience (preferably in the tertiary education or research sectors); or an undergraduate degree, extensive research management experience and other relevant education/training.
Prior experience working with programs, services and/or projects which support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' health.
Demonstrated capacity to develop, manage and coordinate research projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively (written and oral) with key stakeholders including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Proven ability to manage, lead and develop staff, including other technical staff within a research team environment.
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to upholding the highest standard of research integrity, ethics and workplace health and safety.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment. The successful candidate will also be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including an education check and criminal history check.
