The Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/fusion-data-intelligence-platform/) is an evolution of the Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse product, which will deliver business data-as-a-service with automated data pipelines, 360-degree data models for key business entities, rich interactive analytics, AI/ML models, and intelligent applications. These out-of-box capabilities will run on top of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Data Lake services, including Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics Cloud, which enables full extensibility at the data, analytics, AI/ML, and application layers.

These projects require strong skills on Java/Scala back-end using data flow, Spark and big data technology skills. The role encompasses the following critical responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java/Scala, Spark for distributed systems development.
- Design, and develop highly scalable big data applications to process and analyze large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Review user needs and develop software solutions that exceed customer expectations.·
- Implement best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of strong coding experience in Java or Scala
- Distributed computing experience using Spark, MapReduce, or Hive
- Experience in building high-performance, resilient, scalable, and well-engineered systems
- Deep understanding of full-stack software, object-oriented design, and multi-threading
- Experience in CI/CD and development best practices
- Experience with cloud data storage technologies like HDFS, S3, etc
- Experience with instrumentation, logging systems, and partnering with data science
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or equivalent professional experience

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
