As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent educational location, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing entry points, responding to inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and providing directions or information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with campus personnel and/or emergency services as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
