The Opportunity

As an Insurance Tax Senior Associate, you will provide advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and maintain professional and technical standards. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns for clients
- Reviewing and validating compliance with tax laws and regulations to minimize risks
- Collaborating with clients to provide strategic tax planning and guidance
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret complex tax concepts and inform recommendations
- Drafting and preparing tax documents to support client compliance and planning efforts
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for tax optimization
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines and independence requirements
- Developing meaningful client connections to understand and anticipate their needs
- Embracing change and navigating complex situations to deliver quality outcomes
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
