The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive focuses on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.As a Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive you will spend time building relationships with front and back-office staff by conducting sales calls and onsite visits within the Seattle, WA and surrounding areas. You will provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage a sales territory for CenterWell, a Humana-owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services.
Live in, travel throughout, and manage the sales territory in Seattle, WA and greater Seattle, WA area.
Additional travel (Sometimes overnight) to Spokane, Tacoma, Bellingham and Lakewood Washington areas.
Build relationships with front and back-office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.
Educate clinics on the several patient benefits for using Humana Mail Order pharmacy - lower cost, easier approvals, resource assistance and a more comprehensive cycle of care.
Be a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.

Required Qualifications
Previous sales experience with documented success of meeting/exceeding goals.
You must be located in or within a commutable distance of Seattle, WA.
Must be comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel.
Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
This role is part of Humana's Fleet Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to take possession of a company fleet vehicle and have a valid state driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Experience with Pharmacy reporting or the Pharmaceutical industry.
Specialty Pharmacy or Managed Care experience.
Ability to analyze sales data & market trends to make effective business decisions.
Exposure to pharmaceutical contracting language.
Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tool.
Bilingual in English and Spanish--ability to read, write and speak both languages fluently.
Additional Information
Workstyle: Field - This is a field position where employees perform their core duties at non-company locations, such as providing services at business partner facilities or prospects' and members' homes.
Travel Required: Up to 70%, 5 days/week within an assigned territory line, with occasional overnight travel. Additional travel may include attendance at offsite team engagement meetings, which may require air travel and overnight stays.
Driving Record: We will evaluate your driving record as part of a third-party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position.
Typical Workdays & Hours: Monday – Friday; Pacific Standard Time (PST).
