WHAT YOU WILL DOFor starters, you are passionate about data, enjoy creating insightful dashboards, and are eager to dive deep into data analysis. You have experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and are enthusiastic about compiling and summarizing large datasets. You will also respond to ad hoc data requests from various departments within the company. This role will report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Manually compile and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights.
• Quickly digest large data sets and summarize what they are saying.
• Create, maintain, and improve dashboards to track key business metrics using Power BI.
• Work with various department heads to understand what they need and execute on what will make their job more efficient.
• Respond to data requests from different departments, providing timely and accurate information.
• Work closely with team members to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and checks.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline data processes and improve data quality.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
• Familiarity with SQL & Power BI.  Proficiency with Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle large datasets and perform complex data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on the fly.
• Not afraid to take risks and make mistakes.
• Proactive and able to prioritize tasks independently without constant supervision.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
