Summit Oral Surgery & Implant Center is growing, and we’re looking for a dedicated Surgical Dental Assistant to join our trusted team. Since 1977, we’ve proudly served communities across Montana and Northern Wyoming with compassionate, expert oral surgical care. As a Surgical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our surgeons and delivering an exceptional experience to every patient who walks through our doors!

• Travel is required to our Miles City, Powell and Cody locations.
• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and IV sedation cases
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to OSHA and CDC standards
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, including taking vitals and providing post-op care instructions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts and surgical notes
• Support the surgical team with room setup, patient flow, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure the highest level of patient care

Requirements

• One year of dental or surgical assistant experience required
• Certification in radiology and/or CPR is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and calm under pressure
• A team player with a compassionate, patient-first mindset
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced surgical environment
