Position Overview:

The Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic financial advisor to the business leadership, bridging the gap between finance and operations.  This role combines financial expertise with business acumen to drive performance, support decision-making, and enhance profitability.  The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor who can challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and provide commercial recommendations while maintaining the independence and objectivity required of a finance professional. They will need to balance their role as a strategic partner with their responsibilities as a steward of financial governance and control.  They will be expected to understand the business drivers deeply, identify trends, and proactively recommend solutions to business challenges.

The role requires someone who can communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders effectively and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FBP activities for the North America Continence Care geography, which include:
  • Collaborate and align with North American Continence Care leadership to optimise performance, which includes leading periodic touchpoints with the sales team, development of reports and presentations to facilitate these meetings, and translating commercial activities into financial results.
  • Support budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes, working closely with GBS FP&A and RTR teams and GQOR as needed and including the preparation and review of periodic product-level forecasts.
  • Support the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic support to the business unit
  • Collaborate with the business functions to optimise financial performance
  • Develop and maintain financial models for decision-making
  • Analyse financial results and KPIs, and prepare management reports
  • Support the Global Continence business operations review, providing support and further insight regarding the North American business as needed
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements, including structure
  • Lead change management activities as needed
  • Perform competitor analysis and market trend assessments to inform financial strategies
  • Provide financial training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders across the organisation
  • Participate in negotiations with key customers and suppliers as needed, offering financial insights
  • Conduct pricing analysis and profitability studies
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time financial performance monitoring
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to assess potential business impacts
  • Analyse the financial implications of proposed changes in business processes or systems
  • Review financial performance to support the organisation’s incentive plans
  • Coordinate with the IM department to improve financial systems and data capabilities
  • Analyse customer and product profitability to guide strategic decision-making
  • Assist in financial risk management and compliance
  • Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) consolidation and on-going analysis
  • Lead ROI evaluations for proposed projects, as well as post completion
  • Support Controlling and GBS with the audit processes


 

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Certifi
