General Summary
OH Tech is responsible for performing a variety of occupational health testing procedures in the Anchorage clinic as well as some on-site field testing, performing data entry of testing results, generating compliance reports for clients, performing drug and alcohol collections, supporting the medical providers with their patients, answering phones, scheduling, and filing.
OH Tech will assist in ensuring the delivery of excellent quality, customer focused services, continuous improvement and maximize the efficiency and development of the employees and organization.
This position is a full-time position and will work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday at our clinic in Anchorage, AK.
Job Requirements - Education and Training

Required Education/Certification:
- CMA, or EMT2 or higher-level certification

Preferred:
- X-Ray experience
- Phlebotomy experience

Required Skills:
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft programs
- Understanding of operating systems to include Systoc, I3Screen, BOSS, and Athena.
- Ability to perform and/or understand all technical aspects of the clinical services division to include audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, Fits, vitals, patient triage, etc., and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Ensure that standards of care are met, and procedures are followed.
- Solid understanding of operations in the clinic as well as the field.
- Comply with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Model and ensure excellent Standards of Care, Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and employee adherence to Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and serve as a technical resource.
- Demonstrate flexibility to implement change with minimal disruption.
- Organization and time management skills.
About You
Must have clinical competence for the designated area(s) and have a solid understanding of overall day to day operations of service area, equipment, and patient flow/triage. Must demonstrate positive attitude, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting, and include some lifting. Exposure to bodily fluids, sharps and other health care occupational hazards are routine. This will include hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions, and gases (e.g. alcohol and oxygen) as well as latex and other industrial chemicals. Must be able to lift to 45 pounds, carry, climb, push, pull kneel, twist, stoop, and squat.
Contingencies
Offer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, fitness for duty assessment for remote work, background check and motor vehicle report.
