Join our Wireless SW Engineering team and drive innovation that results in fantastic products for our customers! If you're a strong Senior Software Systems Engineer and passionate about building awesome wireless software solutions, we have the right job!  You'll design, implement, and maintain next generation Wireless Access Point embedded platform solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software on Access points for our market verticals
• Contribute to functional specifications and product definitions
• Design/Develop software independently and rapidly in an Agile environment
• Develop unit test strategy/programs for software that you develop
• Strong desire to learn new tools and technology is an absolute must

Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in network software development, with at least 3 years’ experience in embedded SW development
• Experience developing kernel and system level modules for embedded Linux systems
• Strong skills in C/C++ for real-time, embedded systems development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Experience using Agile, Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development

Desired Skills

• Understanding and implementation expertise in a broad range of 802.11 protocols, TCP/IP, network L2/L3 forwarding and/or control plane elements
• Working knowledge of wireless network technologies is preferred but not required
• Ability to analyze and improve overall performance of embedded network software

LOCATION: Team is based in/around our south San Jose, California site + we're open to filling this role as a hybrid with strong preference for anyplace with PST time zone
