The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role works closely with operations, production, and management teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Inspect and test materials, products, and processes for quality standards

Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records

Identify defects and recommend corrective actions

Collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures

Provide training and guidance on quality standards as needed

Report recurring problems to management and suggest improvements

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)

Experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations

Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, report generation)

Preferred Skills:

 

Experience with quality management systems

Certification in quality control or assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO)
