💰 Salary: $43,727 – $49,193 annually

 

What You'll Do

As an Information Center Specialist at PSRS/PEERS, you'll be part of a close-knit, service-driven team that's often the first point of contact for our 320,000+ members. Your day will be filled with meaningful conversations-by phone, chat, and email-helping Missouri's public school educators and staff understand and navigate their retirement benefits.

A typical day might include:

• Answering questions about retirement eligibility, benefit options, or service purchases.
• Walking a member through their online account or helping them reset a password.
• Reviewing membership records to provide accurate benefit estimates.
• Explaining how recent legislation or Social Security might impact a member's retirement.
• Collaborating with teammates to ensure every member receives clear, compassionate, and accurate information.

You'll be a trusted guide during some of the most important financial decisions our members will ever make.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED/HiSET (some substitutions allowed)
• At least two years of office experience (pension or financial services experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others
