Job Description:

   

HPE is looking for a dynamic individual to lead Inbound Product Management for our HPE GreenLake Private Cloud. Working collaboratively with senior executive leadership across the company, you will have the opportunity to innovate HPE’s Private Cloud offering. You will have the opportunity to work with customers, service providers and channel partners as we deliver on our as a service portfolio. This role reports to HPE’s VP, Private Cloud Product Management.

Responsibilities

• Leverage market research and customer insights to develop epics and user stories to enable the product strategy, clarify business and use cases, understand the technical requirements, and identify potential revenue and ROI.
• Translate product strategy into detailed technical requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams by leading the development of comprehensive Product Requirement Documents.
• Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications to improve lead generation and reduce CPL.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates HPE across primary market segments
• Drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for HPE’s Private Cloud.
• Build and support a highly functional and self-sufficient team of Product Managers and Product Owners.
• Be an adept storyteller to help your audience visualize the benefits and value of your portfolio.
• Exemplary product and people management skills, cross-team collaboration skills, and ability to negotiate across the company for your initiatives.
• Conduct market and customer analysis and create solutions that scale to our largest customers both in commercial and federal environments. 
• Be the change agent, discover impactful opportunities to optimize business processes, and deliver business outcomes for HPE and our customers. 
• Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.

Knowledge And Skills Needed

• Extensive experience in managing Product Management organizations.
• Building and developing high caliber teams.
• Managing multi-level teams, global teams, and large organizations.
• Leading and collaborating with global teams.
• Solid technical acumen in Private Cloud and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Product Management acumen including a track record in launching new products and in growing new products as well as experience in managing the entire product life cycle.
• Influencing current trends, competitor products and strategies .
• Excellent communication and collaboration with all with all levels of business to thoroughly, and accurately to build the future of Private Cloud.
• Knowledge of effective consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.
• Basic knowledge of social media, blogging, and related information sharing technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree. Preference in engineering from technical university. Masters degree preferred.
• 15 years of Product Management experience – driving products from 1-10x.  
• Technical background and experience with developer-facing products such as Cloud Infrastructure, Private Cloud etc.
• Experience envisioning, influencing, productizing, and delivering end customer services.
• People expertise in building and leading high-performance teams
