Core Job Responsibilities:
The Cocktail Server will provide elegant, warm and responsive service to all guests while taking and serving beverage orders. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures
Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
Respond to and resolve guest complaints, exceed guest expectations, and provide other supporting services.
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of all Steakhouse menu items, including descriptions of every wine and champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
Knowledgeable of tableside sequence of service
Able to balance and carry a tray loaded with glassware
Ability to push and serve from a beverage cordial cart
Minimum age requirement 21 years or older.
Minimum of 1 year of previous Food and Beverage experience in a fast-paced environment with cocktail serving experience, preferably within a hotel/gaming property.
Possess excellent interpersonal service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor, manage multiple tasks and remain calm and produce expected results in a very high paced environment.
Basic math skills are required, as well as the ability to handle cash and accurately make change. Must have knowledge and ability to perform proper Bottle service.

Work is performed in a Casino/Hotel setting.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.

Eye/hand coordination.
