About the role
We are seeking a Vendor Operations Specialist looking to start their career who is personable and detail-oriented and will provide support in a variety of teams such as Customer Service, Online Sales, Procurement, and Fulfillment. This person would be eager to resolve issues by phone and email with both our external customers and our internal partners. What You'll Do
- Answer customer service calls or emails from customers regarding questions on their orders; contact customers regarding issues with their orders via phone and email.
- Address customer inquiries related to order returns in a timely, professional manner and ensure appropriate resolution to any outstanding order is completed.
- Log and communicate recurring customer issues and/or complaints to team leadership and account managers.
- Process online orders: communicate with customers via phone and email when needed to ensure their orders are processed correctly.
- Submit vendor PO’s and follow-up on fulfillment and tracking. Escalate issues when dealing with unresponsive vendors.
- Process and track RMAs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 year experience in a Customer Service role preferred, willingness to learn and drive to succeed a must
- Phone system proficiency
- Microsoft Office Suite competency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Outlook expertise, including managing multiple inboxes seamlessly
- Experience working with web-based interfaces, especially with using multiple tabs
- Excellent communication skills, especially over phone and email
- Flexible and adaptable; enjoys taking on various new responsibilities when needed but is also content focusing on one repeated task when needed

- This is a Hybrid opportunity, offering the flexibility of three days in the office and two remote.
