EHN Full Time Lead Surgical Tech. Must be certified.
Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program receiving a Surgical Technology Certificate (STC) required or Honorable Discharge from Military Service in the Primary Specialty of Surgical Technician.
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Job Description

With a commitment to patient- and family-centered care, monitors and directs the activities of assigned surgical techs in OR to achieve optimum performance, efficiency and quality outcomes under supervision of the surgical manager and coordinator. Performs duties of surgical technician- provides patient care in OR by performing scrub role when needed. Collaborates with charge nurse/service line coordinator/manager for the smooth day-to-day operations within specialty service. Participates in the delivery of OR care in the operating room and/ or ambulatory surgical center in ways that values the uniqueness of each individual and addresses the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of the diversity of patients served by Jefferson Health.
