Summary:
Review and follow up on unpaid insurance claims. Proces incoming correspondence from patients and payers. Work various Team Members and across Departments to resolve issues preventing claims to be paid. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player. Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to type. Previous telephone customer service experience required. Meditech and Cerner systems experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task & perform effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. Needs to have a good understanding of medical insurance. Minimum of 1-year previous hospital or medical office medical insurance experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Days, Monday through Friday, daytime business hours.
